Art Supporting Activity

Shiseido’s corporate support of arts and culture (so called “Mecenat” activities) can be traced all the way back to the 1919 founding of the Shiseido Gallery. From the beginning this gallery has offered an open venue in which up-and-coming artists can present their works, helping to push them out into the world and into public view.

We have enjoyed being a co-sponsor of many arts and culture projects over the years. While the public system ended with final applications in FY2018, going forward, we continue to promote arts and culture at Shiseido Gallery and Shiseido Art House.
