Since 2012, Drunk Elephant has pioneered a philosophy that is as radical as it is simple: Get rid of the six ingredient categories that we believe are at the root of many common skin issues and replace them with ingredients that the skin recognizes and embraces. We don't believe these are beneficial for skin—essential oils, drying alcohols, silicones, chemical sunscreens, fragrances/dyes, and SLS—and you will never find any of them in our line. That’s why we only formulate our products with biocompatible, research-backed ingredients for clinically proven results, bringing skin to a healthy, balanced state. That’s what we call our ingredient-elimination philosophy for a total skin reset.
