Reportable Acts

A channel for reporting misconduct, violations of law or Code of Conduct and Ethics (including fraud) or other misconduct/ actions that may pose risks to Shiseido or to Shiseido’s business partners, relating to the matters below:

  • Abuse of Influence
  • Bribery / Corruption
  • Breach of Policy / Procedure
  • Bullying / Harassment
  • Cartel
  • Conflict of Interest
  • Discrimination
  • Fraud
  • Health / Safety / Environment
  • Theft
  • Other Unethical Behaviour or Misconduct

Eligible Users

Shiseido employees, third parties (i.e.. vendors and suppliers) and officers and employees of business partners who have ongoing business transactions with Shiseido and/or Shiseido Group companies

Protection of Reporters

Reports will be kept confidential, except as necessary or appropriate under relevant laws and regulations, to conduct the investigation and/or to take any remedial action. Also, if the whistle blower makes a report with his or her identity fully or partially disclosed, his or her identity will be protected except as may be required under relevant laws and regulations. Shiseido will not tolerate any discrimination, retaliation or harassment of any kind against a whistle blower who submits a report in good faith.

Our Response

A Deloitte whistleblowing analyst will review the information you have given, summarize the information provided, suggest specific follow-up action and submit a report to a designated Shiseido representative(s) for follow-up or corrective action. Shiseido will then decide what action to take. Whether there is an investigation depends on a number of factors including the information provided, the details, documentation and Shiseido company policy. Shiseido will decide what action is required when they receive the report.
