Q: I am currently using Foundation VC for my vitiligo. Can I use MC instead?

A: Depending on the condition of vitiligo. Use Foundation MC if the difference in the tones between the vitiligo part and the surrounding skin is not very clear. Use Foundation VC if there is a clear contrast between the vitiligo part and the surrounding skin tone.

Q: How is it different from other face powders?

A: It is specially designed to prevent makeup from fading from sebum and sweat, or transfering to clothing, towels and face masks. We recommend using it over Foundation MC or Foundation VC to further prolong its finish.

Q: Does it leave a white residue?

A: The formula is highly translucent and prevents a white sheen or residue. It works on any skin tone.

Q: Do I have to double-cleanse (follow with cleansing foam)?

A: No, you don't. If you prefer, you can follow with cleansing foam.

Q: How long does it last?

A: If you are using it on the whole face at a rate of roughly 3 pumps per use, it will last for 2.5 months.

Q: Can I use it with wet hands?

A: Yes, you can.

Q: I am wearing eyelash extensions. Can I use it around my eyes?: A: It can be used on eyelash extensions attached with conventional glue (cyanoacrylate). In many cases, eyelash extensions come off due to friction. Whether you are wearing them or not, do not rub your eyelashes, and always cleanse gently from base to tip.

Q: How do I remove Perfect Cover Foundation?

A: Use cleansing oil. We recommend Perfect Cover Cleansing Oil which is specifically designed for our products and gentle on the skin.

Q: How do I get Perfect Cover Foundation out of my clothes?

A: During removal, be gentle to avoid any damage to your clothes. In general, the longer a stain is left untreated, the harder it is to remove. First, try detergent or stain remover on an inconspicuous area such as the back of the collar or hem to make sure it does not damage the fabric. Because some fabrics require professional cleaning, we recommend checking with a dry cleaner.

* Please note alcohol and ligroin can damage acetate fabrics.

Q: Can I use your range of foundations year-round?: A: Yes, you can. They are for all seasons.

Q: How do I care for the brush included in Perfect Cover Foundation VC?

A: Before the foundation dries out, use a tissue to wipe the brush gently before storing.
If the foundation dries out, use a cotton pad soaked with an oil-based makeup remover to dissolve the foundation on the brush. Then, clean the brush with a mild detergent diluted with water and rinse thoroughly. Remove moisture and allow it to dry completely in the shade.

Q: How do I care for the Perfect Cover Brush?

A: Wipe the brush off with a tissue before the foundation dries up. Use a cotton pad soaked with an oil-based makeup remover to dissolve the foundation remaining in the brush. Then, wipe off the brush gently with a tissue until it feels dry and smooth. To deep-clean the brush, follow the steps described above, and then wash the brush with a brush cleaner or a mild detergent diluted with water. Rinse thoroughly, pat dry with a towel and allow it to dry completely in the shade.

Q: Can I use your products for atopic dermatitis and acne scars?: A: If you are currently receiving treatment, please consult your doctor before using our products or booking your appointment. Please note that we may not be able to provide consultation depending on your skin condition.

Q: I am currently going through laser treatment. Can I use your products?: A: Yes you can, as long as your doctor approves the use of cosmetics. Please consult your doctor before using our products or booking your appointment.

Q: Can I use your products for scars from cutting?: A: Yes you can, as long as they are not inflamed. Please note individual results may vary for uneven skin surfaces like scars. We will look at your skin condition and do our best to propose suitable products and the application method.

Q: Can children use your products?: A: Yes, as long as they have a referral or permission to use cosmetics from their doctors. They can also receive our makeup consultation.

Q: Can you show me how to apply to areas I can't reach, like my back?: A: Yes, we can. Because you cannot practice on areas you cannot reach, we recommend you come to your appointment with someone who will be able to help you.

Q: What information do I need to give when I call to book an appointment?

A: We will ask you about your skin condition and which parts of your face or body you want to cover. If you are currently seeing a doctor, you will need to confirm that you have permission to use foundation. We will ask your name, contact information and preferred date, and set up your appointment.

Q: How do I cancel my appointment?

A: Please call at your earliest convenience.

Consultations

Q: How much is a consultation?

A: It is free of charge. We may ask you to fill out a survey for research and development purposes.

Q: How long is a consultation?

A: It takes up to 90 minutes, including the time for you to practice applying makeup. We tailor advice to your skin condition and amount of experience with makeup.

Q: Can men receive a consultation?: A: Certainly. Please call for more information.

Q: Can someone else receive a consultation on my behalf?: A: Unfortunately, no. We need to look at your skin condition (tone, size, surface condition, etc.) to provide advice on optimal products and techniques. The consultation also includes practice so you can apply the makeup at home.

Q: How do you ensure privacy? Will I be seen by anyone?

A: You will receive a consultation in a private room. Our consultations are strictly by appointment only, and we will not serve you and other customers together.

Q: Can I bring family and friends?: A: Yes. The consultation is for you only but you can bring your family and friends. You will be served in a private room with an area for them to stay.
