1．Making, Changing, and Canceling Reservations

Q：Do I need to make a reservation to visit the factory? Can I visit without a reservation?

A：Factory tours are available by reservation only. If you would like to visit the factory, please make a reservation online through the Factory Tour Booking page of Shiseido Company website.

Q：When can I book a tour?

A：On the 1st of each month, reservations are accepted for dates two months away.
(e.g.) On July 1st, reservations from September 1st to September 30th are available.

Q：How can I confirm, change or cancel my reservation?

A：To confirm, change or cancel your reservation, please access the link below, and enter your reservation number and registered email address to confirm,change or cancel your reservation information.

Q：When is my last day to change/cancel my reservation?

A：You can change/cancel your reservation using the link above until 2 business days before (excluding Saturdays/Sundays/National Holidays) prior to your reservation date.
If you wish to cancel on the day of your reservation or past the above window, please contact us directly by phone.

Q：I booked a tour (or cancelled a reservation) online, but I did not receive a confirmation email.

A：Please check your registered email address for errors or spam settings, if you have still not received a confirmation email, contact us at the email address below for further assistance.

2．Visiting the Factory

Q：Do I need to pay an admission fee or participation fee?

A：No, factory tours are free of charge.

Q：What is the minimum number of people required to book a factory tour?

A：There is no minimum number of people requirement in order to book a tour.

Q：Is there an age requirement to visit the factory?

A：No, visitors of all ages are welcome. However, visitors aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

Q：Can I take photos or videos during the tour?

A：Taking photos is not allowed in the production area (Manufacturing room, Filling and Finishing room, etc.). Our staff will inform you of where you can take photos.
However, taking video is strictly prohibited anywhere on the tour.

3．About Access

Q：Is there a free shuttle?

A：Yes. we have the Shiseido Factory Tour Shuttle from Hankyu Railway Ibaraki-shi Station.
Please find the details in the 'Access' column.
If you would like to ride the Shiseido Factory Tour Shuttle, please mark a check in "the Shiseido Factory Tour Shuttle“ box when booking the tour.

Q：Is there a parking lot?

A：Yes, we have a few parking spots. However, capacity is limited.
If you would like to come by private car, please mark a check in the "a private car“ box when making the reservation.
If all parking spaces are already booked at the time of your reservation, we are sorry, but you will not be able to book a parking space.
※We also have handicapped parking spaces which are also limited in number. Please contact us if needed.

Q：Are there any parking spaces for a bicycle or a moterbike?

A：Yes, we also have a few spaces for a bicycle and a moterbike.

4．Other

Q：Can I bring my pet?

A：No, pets are not allowed in the factory. However, assistance dogs (Guide dogs, Hearing dogs, Service dogs, etc.) are allowed to accompany visitors.

Q：Can I bring my own food and drink? Also, is there a place to smoke?

A：Eating, drinking, and smoking are prohibited in the facility. However, beverages in PET bottles may be consumed in designated areas.

Q：Are there places to eat or stores to buy food? Are there any stores to buy goods?

A：No, there are no eating areas or shops in the tour facilities.
There are several vending machines for beverages.
