Shiseido has renovated the 1st and 2nd floors of the Shiseido Global Innovation Center, located in Yokohama, and will reopen as Shiseido Beauty Park on January 22, 2025 based on the concept of "awaken the beauty within you with science connecting the skin, body, and mind".
Shiseido Beauty Park features labs where visitors can experience the advanced science of "Beauty Artscape®," which explores the connection between skin, body, and mind. These labs include the Shiseido Beauty Diagnosis Lab, Shiseido Kitchen Lab, and Shiseido Art & Science Lab.Additionally, the facility will feature the "fibona Lab" to promote open innovation and the Shiseido People Lab aimed at elevating the level of researchers who help bring forth all of Shiseido’s innovations, making a total of five labs.
Beauty Artscape® is Shiseido's unique advanced science that demonstrates human wholeness (the connection between skin, body, and mind) by combining dermatological science and kansei (emotional) science with data science. It aims to comprehensively explain the previously unexplored relationships between skin, body, and mind. Based on these algorithms, it will provide advice on predictions, prevention, and improvement for future beauty, offering personalized products and services.
