Notice of integration of Osaka factories
Shiseido Company, Limited (”Shiseido”) announced it will integrate the production activities of its Osaka Factory into the Osaka Ibaraki Factory by the first half of 2026.
The company’s factories located in Osaka are the Osaka Factory, which has been in operation since 1948, and the Osaka Ibaraki Factory, which started operations in 2020. By integrating the Osaka Factory, which boasts exceptional production techniques due to the craftsmanship of its employees, with the state-of-the-art facilities of the Osaka Ibaraki Factory, Shiseido will be able to continue providing high-quality products in a working environment that is sustainable and comfortable yet highly productive, while maintaining the expertise of the factory employees. After the completion of this integration, the Osaka Factory will cease its production activities.
Shiseido will continue to expand globally and aim to establish a stable production network in the medium to long term in order to ensure a further growth by promptly responding to the needs of each region through its factories, distribution centers, and regional supply network teams.
