Entrance Information

We are striving to successfully control infection against the new coronavirus. We would greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in our efforts, and follow the guidelines specified below.

・To ensure social distancing in the Shiseido Corporate Museum, we are limiting visitor access; therefore, you may be asked to wait by the entrance if the number of visitors in the museum exceeds 30. Your cooperation will be much appreciated.

・We are currently checking the body temperatures of all visitors and request your cooperation.

・In response to the request from the Kakegawa City Emergency Task Force, we have to be ready to contact visitors to identify infection routes if a case of the novel coronavirus infection is confirmed on our premises. Please write your personal information, such as name and telephone number, on a card provided at the entrance before entering the museum. (Storage period is 1month)
* We ensure that your personal information provided to us will be handled carefully and will not be used for any other purpose.

・We will work with the public health center to take appropriate measures in the event that any of the visitors or staff are infected with the new coronavirus and will make an appropriate announcement on our website or by other means.
(You are advised to keep a record of the date and time of your visit, just in case.)

・Please clean your hands with the sanitizer placed at the entrance before entering the museum.

・If you have symptoms such as fever and cough, please contact the nearest public health center or clinic and go to the designated medical institution according to theirnstructions before visiting us.

・Please wear a mask when entering the museum.

・Please do not stay in the same spot for a long time, and maintain a distance of two meters from other visitors when viewing exhibits. Our staff may issue a warning if the room starts to become crowded.

・Our staff members have their temperature checked for fever every day. They also wear masks or face shields for infection control against the new coronavirus.

・The museum may be temporarily closed, depending on the situation.

・Not available the CM theater, audio guide service, and the books of the 2nd floor’s library.

・The museum gift shop will be closed for a while.

・Please ask staff around you for help if you feel unwell in the museum.

Audio Guide Service

Not available to use audio guide service.

Audio guides to the Shiseido corporate history displayed at thirteen exhibit stands are available in Japanese, English, French, Chinese, and Korean. These are free of charge and may be borrowed at the first floor counter. Those who wish to use these audio guides should contact the reception desk.
